Wyoming Network, Inc. Buys Lonetree February 7, 2006 (Cheyenne) Wyoming Network, Inc. has purchased the assets of The Wyoming Operation, Inc., also known as Lonetree Internet Services. The acquisition creates one of Wyoming’s largest hosting companies. With the addition of the Lonetree clients and equipment, Wyoming Network, Inc. will be hosting more than a thousand clients around the nation and in Mexico. The company now owns more than 30 servers located in two states. Wyoming Network, Inc. will also be able to offer DSL and dial-up services in addition to website design, hosting, and e-commerce.
Lonetree President Stephen Lack has been retained to provide technical support through his Brightwood Development Corporation. “This allows both companies to focus on our respective strengths,” said Lack. “We will continue to provide the technical expertise that keeps the servers working at peak efficiency.” Philippa Lack, the cheerful voice that answered the phones at Lonetree and assisted with technical support, is moving her office to Wyoming Network, Inc. The change means more services will available to both Lonetree and Wyoming Network clients. “We look forward to working with the website designers who serve Lonetree customers,” said Lerner. With the addition of the Lonetree staff, WyomingNetwork, Inc. will grow to nine employees working out of its Cheyenne office. Wyoming Network, Inc. has been designing and hosting websites since 1998. It also operates a network of community websites around the state, with news, sports, weather, community events, local movie theatre times and more.
